Allan Fork is a retired Los Angeles County District Attorney prosecutor.  He retired in March 2010.  He has tried over 200 jury trials.  He has also handled thousands motions and preliminary matters in criminal cases.

He was recognized as prosecutor of the year in 2003 for two trials in a pyramid scheme that cheated 16,000 victims out of over $15 mil. when the victims invested in a get-rich-quick scheme to obtain the car of their dreams, the house of their dreams and other alleged benefits.  Investigators seized over $2 mil. in cash that he was able to return to victims.  In the first trial the prosecution called over 50 witnesses and used over 100 exhibits  In the second trial the prosecution called over 40 witnesses and used over 100 exhibits.  Nine defendants were sentenced to a total of 58 years and 8 months in prison for their offenses in the case.

Mr. Fork has used visual evidence throughout his trial career.  He made extensive use of paper maps, charts and graphs until computers allowed him to expand the ability to tell a case story by adding animated video and photographs to his presentations.

Mr. Fork began teaching at El Camino College in 1990 when the American Bar Association suggested that the Paralegal program include a course on computer use in the legal environment.
